Casting Crowns - "Until the Whole World Hears"

I think it's time for me to get back to some more regular posting on hear now that things seem to be going better for me personally. This is a song that I think has a great message. It's a relatively new song from an album that was just released last month. Casting Crowns, I've found, has a tendency to produce songs with very powerful lyrics and this one is no exception. I hope you enjoy it.

Phil Stacey - "You're Not Shaken"

Another song I can really relate to during my personal struggles. I find it amazing how God seems to let me know he understands what's going on and reminding me that He is still here for me.

A couple of other notes...there are a couple of minor mistakes in the lyrics shown, but they don't affect the message. Also, sorry for the small pop-up like ads in the "video" (just ignore them if you want). This was the best version for the song I could find.

UPDATE: I just found this video from Phil Stacey's website and thought it would be a great addition to this post.

Lifehouse - "Broken"

This may be the last song I post for a while as I deal with some things and put this lower on my priority list. Since I didn't see a video with lyrics, the first link is to the video and the second one is to the lyrics. Watching the video, I got lost in it towards the end and didn't want you to lose the lyrics.

Double Feature: Matthew West - "You Are Everything" & Laura Story - "Mighty to Save"

Sorry it's been a while since I posted a song. However, since it's been a while and it may be a little while again until I post another song (I leave with the family for a trip to Colorado next week!), I thought I would post two. The first is another great one by Matthew West. The second is by Laura Story and has become one of my favorite worship songs. I hope you enjoy them both. Keep coming back as I hope to be better at posting again in the not too distant future.

Mandisa - "My Deliverer"

No lyrics here, but it's a great song. Good message, good beat. I'm also glad to see that some former American Idol contestants are doing something with their talent.

Matthew West - "The Motions"

I just heard this song recently and I loved it instantly. Like many of the songs I post here, it has a great message. Also, I am posting a link to a story about Matthew West and how his career was jeopardized when he lost his voice and had to go through surgery to fix the problem. It's interesting considering the album this song is on is titled "Something to Say." Read it if you have a chance. A note on the videos below: the first one shows the lyrics to the song and the second one is the official video.

Big Daddy Weave - "What Life Would Be Like"

Wow, this is a great song! There are a few songs I've heard from Big Daddy Weave before, but I think this is their best one so far. I just heard it for the first time on the radio yesterday up in the Bay Area while I was driving to Oakland's airport (heading home from my business trip this week). I hope you enjoy it and get as much from it as I did. (There is a link to the lyrics below the video.)

Rush of Fools - "Undo"

Here is a song that we can all apply to our lives; a prayer to God to change us. Enjoy. No lyrics, but you should be able to get the message without them.

D.C. Talk - "Jesus Freak"

Sorry it's been a while since I posted anything. I haven't forgotten about this, just been insanely busy working on growing our Sunday School class on top of everything else already going on in life.

So here is one my favorite all-time Christian song. I love the message and the style of music, which I don't think I've really posted on here before. It's also a song that is very well known, for the most part. Since this is the actual video (without lyrics) I have posted a link to the lyrics here so you can follow along better and get the message a little clearer. Hope you enjoy it.

Avalon - "You Were There"

I was listening to this song on my iPod the other day on the way to work and remembered how much I love this song. I rarely hear it, but it's always awesome when I do. It's a little longer than most songs, almost 7 minutes, but well worth the listening. The message is tremendous and the music just emphasizes the message that much more. It's a beautifully written song, both the lyrics and music. I hope you enjoy it.

Casting Crowns - "Every Man"

I heard this song on my iPod this morning on the train on the way to work. I love this song and it's message of hope. That's something I can use more of right now. I'm sure I'm not alone either. May this song bless you.

Jeremy Camp - "There Will Be a Day"

Since I first heard this song a couple of weeks ago, I've wanted to post it. This week, it hits home even more for me as it been a stressful week to say the least. Knowing how the economy is in general and how many people are being directly affected by it, this song represent the hope that we can all have, knowing that our struggles are all temporary. That is certainly something to be thankful for.

Third Day - "Call My Name"

Happy New Year, everyone! I thought I'd start the year off with a song I've been meaning to get up for a little while. Hope you enjoy it.
